About the zound of zilence

My grandfather was born in what was not yet the "State of Kuwait." (Thanks a lot, Sykes-Picot!) He came to this country to GET AWAY from madmen like those in ISIS. I am a second-generation American who speaks maybe 20 words of Arabic, and am disgusred by the likes of al Qaida and the aforementioned ISIS.) Today (23/02/16) is my 53rd birthday.
